Door of Hope houses babies that were abandoned by their mothers by means of a baby box. They operate out of three homes in and around Gauteng and care for about 80 babies and toddlers from new born to 5 years.
The babies come to them from a baby drop box of the police have found the children abandoned.
Door of Hope gets all most no government funding and is reliant on public donations. The organization has a continues need for baby products and toiletries.
